Dr. Sharma completed his medical school from Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences, Bilaspur, India then finished his Pathology Residency from Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar, India.

 

He then practiced in India for two years as a General Surgical Pathologist. Later, in 2017, he moved to the United States and finished a Research Fellowship in Molecular Pathology from Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, US.

 

He then finished his second Pathology Residency (Anatomic and Clinical Pathology) and Dermatopathology fellowship from Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH, US.

 

After acquiring his fellowship with the Royal College of Pathologists of Canada (FRCPC), Dr. Sharma worked as an Assistant Professor and Staff Dermatopathologist at London Health Sciences Center – Western University, London, ON, Canada (2023-2025).

 

Currently, he works as a Dermatopathologist and Director of Dermatopathology Services at the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC), Kansas City, Kansas, United States. Dr. Sharma is boarded in India, United States, and Canada.
